LED Lights & CCTV Cameras
It gives us a great deal of pride to say that Kacharkanahalli ward is the 1st ward in Bengaluru to switch to 100% LED street Lights all across the area. Additionally, CCTV Cameras have been installed for the monitoring and safety purposes of the entire ward.
Parks
Parks are an integral part of any community. They have a significant impact on the development of children and also for people to mingle and unwind. There are also outdoor gym equipment installed in the park for the benefit of healthy living through exercise. Keeping in mind Mr. Reddy has developed many beautiful parks in his ward.
Roads
In every area of Kacharkanahalli ward Sri Padmanabha Reddy has made sure that all roads are tarred including concrete ones.
Well-tarred roads are essential to the free and smooth movement of vehicles. Cobbled footpaths border all the major roads in consideration of pedestrian safety.
Flyover Boulevard
It is a matter of pride that the Flyover Boulevard under Hennur main road Flyover is the first of its kind in Bengaluru city.
Along with the greenery in the park, and open gym for exercise, the flyover pillars are also beautified. LED light posts add to the overall aesthetics.
Traffic Police
Traffic police kiosks have been constructed in all the main points as patrolling the traffic and the safety of people is of utmost importance.
RO Purifiers & Water Supply
The RO Purified drinking water plant is constructed at Kacharkanahalli main road. The project was taken up under the 14th Financial Grants from Central Government.
Dry Waste Collection
Mr. Reddy sponsored and inaugurated the dry waste collection center at Jal Vayu Vihar Colony along with the residents.
Welfare Schemes - Senior Citizens
Caring for the senior citizens - Mr. Reddy distributed old age pension letter to residents in Kacharkanahalli ward No 29.
Welfare Schemes - Primary Healthcare
Primary Health Center ensures people receive comprehensive care ranging from promotion and prevention to treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care - as close as feasible to people's everyday environment.
COVID - 19
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Mr. reddy was at the forefront of our battle against the virus. He made sure that all the people who reached out to him had access to the best healthcare available. Mr. Reddy set a goal of vaccinating all the citizens of Kacharkanahalli. He conducted vaccination drives to make sure that all sections of society including domestic help, street vendors, etc got vacations. Also continued supporting the distressed by distributing necessary Groceries Kits to the people in the ward.
Swachh Bharat
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was an initiatine launched by the Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi. The Initiative is a national level campaign to generate civic sense in the Indian masses. As part of Gandhi Jayanti, he set an example for the residents by personally taking part in cleaning the streets and footpaths of Kacharakanahalli.
Welfare Schemes - Laptops Distribution
In today's digital world access to the internet and laptops is very important. Keeping this in mind, Mr. Reddy distributed Laptops to eligible degree students under the BBMP Social Welfare scheme.
